It’s summer. A time for lemonade and outside games. Last August, Bags of Fun had our Second Annual Bags for Bags Cornhole Tournament to raise money for those that don’t get a summer break from their illness. Last year, we had more children and families in attendance than ever before!

On May 7th, we were beyond blessed as an organization to receive such wonderful support from the Omaha community, while celebrating some Kentucky institutions; the Derby and Bourbon! As a 4 year old, understanding why sad, scary things happen often comes differently, more abstract than it does for adults. While it's hard for them to comprehend exactly what’s going on, they find ways to grasp it that more often highlight the good within the bad



In early March, hospitals closed playrooms for children and families inpatient. Bags of Fun's mission to bring joy, laughter and relief to every child fighting a life-threatening disease or condition suddenly became more necessary than ever before.
